A teaching assistant bought new underwear before a planned ‘sexual encounter’ with a schoolboy in a hotel room.
Lydia Beattie-Milligan, who was nicknamed ‘Mrs Robinson’ after the cougar from the film The Graduate, has been told to sign on to the sexual offenders register for her actions.
The married mum-of-two, from Lydiate, Merseyside, denied she had sexual interest in children and said she was trying to help the boy, who suffered from anxiety issues.
